Position Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Mendix Developer with a strong background in designing and developing complex applications using the Mendix low-code platform.
• This role is ideal for someone who has a proven track record of integrating Mendix applications with external systems and transitioning from traditional code-based platforms.
• This role is based in New Brunswick, NJ, but can be performed from Lafayette, LA in a hybrid model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable applications using Mendix.
• Work with development lead to determine the optimal architecture for the application.
• Lead the migration of legacy, code-driven applications to the Mendix platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Integrate Mendix applications with third-party systems and APIs.
• Optimize application performance and ensure best practices in architecture and security.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex, enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, nanoflows, and domain modeling.
• Experience with integrating Mendix with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases, etc.).
• Background in migrating applications from traditional code-based environments to Mendix.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Mendix development.
• Proven experience in designing and developing complex, enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, nanoflows, and domain modeling.
• Experience with integrating Mendix with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases, etc.).
• Background in migrating applications from traditional code-based environments to Mendix.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
