Qualified candidates must be professional, outgoing, friendly and coachable. The goal of the position is to provide tenants with a clean, well maintained and fully functioning working environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of the maintenance technician include general repairs to the office spaces / common areas of the buildings and grounds, trash removal, emergency repairs, minor construction with painting and sheetrock.

• Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Work may also be required some nights and weekends when there are emergency situations or as needed. 
• Applicants must furnish their own reliable, insured transportation; we reimburse  mileage for work-related travel.
• Job Type: Full-time
• Lafayette, LA:  Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.

Qualifications:

• This position has the following requirements: hands-on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems (general HVAC knowledge).
• Physical requirements include being able to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, walk between buildings and on roofs, stoop, kneel, and bend.
• Applicant will also be required to complete drug screening and a background check.
