The Tower Crew Foreman is responsible for leading a field crew in the safe, efficient, and quality construction, modification, and maintenance of telecommunications towers and related structures. This working foreman role combines hands-on technical expertise with crew leadership, project coordination, and strict adherence to safety regulations. The ideal candidate is an experienced tower climber who has progressed into a leadership role and can manage crew performance, customer relationships, and daily site operations under minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Required

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tower construction, modification, or maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a tower crew in a foreman or lead capacity.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (construction).
• Current Competent Climber certification from an accredited
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Ability to climb towers up to 500+ feet and work at heights for extended periods.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, RF drawings, and scopes of work.
• Strong understanding of rigging, fall protection systems, and rescue procedures.

Preferred

• NWSA Tower Technician Level 2 or higher certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with fiber, microwave, or small cell deployment is a plus.
• Competent Rescuer certification.
